Orders can be divided into types, for example:
- orders from legal entities (i.e organisations);
- orders from private individuals
These types of orders are important when it comes to the distribution of orders among managers, specifically if certain managers work only with legal entities, and others only with private individuals.
To add a new type of order, click "Add". To edit the order type, click anywhere in the row of the desired order type in the table. In the editing form, you only need to fill in two fields: name and symbolic code.
Ticking "By default in the system" will set the value for the order type automatically for orders created in the system.
Ticking "By default in API" will set the value for the order type automatically for orders that come via API, if the order type is not explicitly specified.
Order types are used throughout the system, whether it is searching for an order or editing the order itself, or setting order status change time limits for for orders of different types.
