To create new user groups and edit existing ones, go to the "User groups" section, which is located in "Administration" (general system administration settings).
Don't forget to specify the symbolic code when creating a new group.
Symbolic code is necessary so that the url for the system user is built through group name to which they belong.
The symbolic code is also used when accessing the system via API.
Rights
Access rights can be set for different user groups. Depending on the set of access rights, certain sections of the system can be displayed or blocked.
For example, you can configure user rights in such a way that members of the "Sales managers" group will be able to work only with orders; and users of the "Administrators" group will see analytical reports and will be able to export orders, customers, products.
Let's consider some of the different types of rights:
Group of rights for "Notifications"
You can prohibit the sending of service notifications by users. Service notifications are those that are sent to managers directly from the system interface.
Group of rights "General"
Allows or prohibits a certain group of users from viewing and editing financial transactions, for example, information about gross margins or purchase prices.
Group of rights for "Chats"
Provides certain user groups access to the chat functionality, which allows you to communicate with customers via popular instant messengers and the Live Chat widget. Please note that the chat functionality is a separate item in the license, which needs to be added to your tariff.
Important!
"Export of orders" gives user groups the right to download order tables. The right was implemented in order to restrict access to the list of orders by unauthorised personnel who could potentially give the order base to third parties. The same restrictions apply to the export of products, customers, costs and managers.
Signature template
This field is used to automatically add a signature for manual and bulk sending of emails. The object user
is available in the template - this is the user who sends the email.
If the user belongs to more than one group, the signature of the first group will be used.
