Before connecting, create an API key that will be used to exchange messages. The key is available in the "API access keys" section.
When creating a key, activate the methods of the "Integration" section.
Please note that integration with the messenger is carried out via the token of the created bot.
Before setting up the integration module, you need to get authorisation in your Viber partner account - https://partners.viber.com/login.

Authorisation takes place via the phone number to which the Viber account is registered.
How to create a Viber bot
In the partner account, create an account for the bot (Create Bot Account), then fill in all the fields and save. After saving, a token key will be generated to connect the module to the system.
How to connect the created bot to the system
Go to the "Marketplace", select the Viber integration module and click on the "Connect" button. On the connection page, specify the system URL and the created API key. Don't forget to save your changes.
After saving, an additional "Bots" tab will appear where you must specify the token-key of the previously created bot.
"en" / "ru" is intended to specify the language of system notifications within the widget in the chat.
The integration is now complete. Messages from Viber will now be uploaded to the system.

How to find and write to the bot
In order for the customer to find the created bot, it is necessary to provide them with a QR code, which is located in the personal account of the created bot. When the code is scanned, the connection to the bot is automatically started. Alternatively, you can provide a direct link to the connection, like: viber://pa?chatURI=democrmbot
, where democrmbot
is your bot's URI.
The QR code is scanned directly from the Viber app itself.
