Registration in the loyalty program is possible manually from the customer card, via API or by setting up automatic registration.

When a customer registers for the Loyalty Program, a participation is created. Participation has a status, there are three options:

  • Not confirmed - the customer can only accumulate the amount of purchases and bonuses. The level of participation varies but bonuses and discounts cannot be used.
  • Active - all actions under the Loyalty Program are available. The customer can accumulate and use bonuses and discounts.
  • Deactivated - all actions under the Loyalty Program are unavailable. New orders are not included in the accumulation, bonuses and discounts are not accumulated and are not used.

Activation of participation will occur immediately after registration or according to the configured terms.

You can set up activation rules - set terms for data verification and use SMS confirmation.

If any of the fields is not filled in, participation will not be activated. You can choose from preset fields or add user fields with the "Customer" and "Participation in the loyalty program" types. That is, if all the verification terms are met, then participation is activated in the Loyalty Program. If some of the terms is not met, then the participation is created, but remains in the "Not confirmed" status.

An example of using this function: a customer receives a loyalty card at the cash desk and, in order not to create a queue, the cashier offers to activate the card at home by filling in the data on the website or calling a certain number. Until the customer fills in the data, the card is not activated. At the same time, each time presenting it upon purchase, the purchase amount will be taken into account and bonuses will be accrued, but it will not be possible to spend them until the card is activated.

If the option "Phone number confirmation by SMS" is enabled, participation will be activated only if the phone number has been confirmed. If the option is disabled, but a phone is selected in the activation terms, then only the presence of the phone number of the Program participation is checked.

If the option "Phone number confirmation by SMS" is active, then when a customer registers in the Loyalty Program, an SMS with a confirmation code will not be automatically sent. Sending an SMS message with a confirmation code is carried out manually from the customer / participation card. If the "Confirmation by SMS" option is disabled, sending SMS will not be available.

When creating participation via API - it is activated by a separate method. Please note that when creating a participation via API, an SMS with a confirmation code is not sent automatically as well. Automatic sending of an SMS with a confirmation code is carried out when activating a participation via API.

Messages are charged according to your tariff. To use the function, set the sender's name. The SMS is sent from the verified name of the store, which is selected in the main settings of the Loyalty Program. If several stores are selected, it is sent on behalf of the store in the customer.

Resending an SMS message with a confirmation code is available 60 seconds after the first sending. The lifetime of the code from SMS is 300 seconds (5 minutes). If the code is entered incorrectly, then 2 more attempts are given to enter (3 attempts in total). If the code is entered incorrectly all 3 times, sending and entering the code is blocked for 12 hours.

If the activation terms are not set, and the option "Phone number confirmation by SMS" is disabled (or all the necessary data for activation is present), then participation is activated immediately after registration in the Program.

If the customer does not have enough data at the moment of registration, and the participation was created inactive, then when the missing information is added, the participation is activated automatically.
