Working with products in the email designer

In the designer blocks you can add recommended products and prerequisite products from the marketing rule. Using this block you can display recommended products which the system can automatically select based on the filters and terms set in the rule itself. When working with the "Regular consumption goods" rule, the email will recommend those products that the customer purchased in the order by which the rule was triggered.

Note

The quantity of the displayed product is specified in the rule, when setting up products for recommendations. For a product-prerequisite the quantity of the product being displayed is indicated in the settings of the "Product" block itself, in the designer.

The groups of recommended products created in the rule will be pulled up automatically after adding the “Product” block to the email template.

After adding the "Product" block and selecting a group, a number of settings appear for styling the displayed products. For example, you can choose the horizontal/vertical orientation of the product card, which will allow you to display correctly the list of products on a mobile device; hide or display certain parameters (article and dimensions are hidden by default). When you click on the arrow next to the "Name", "Price" and "Button" parameters, styling options open, such as color, style, size, and so on.

When choosing the vertical orientation of product cards it becomes possible to change the location of elements using Drag and Drop which affects the visual component of the block with products. For example, you can place the name and price above the image.

Important!

When adding the "Products" block, it is the product group that is selected, which is created when setting up the rule in the block with recommended products, and not the category of products that appears in the system.

You can add several blocks to the email template which will have their own product group and their own styling.
