The following can be done when the mailing is fully configured and you need just to run it.

After the segments are specified, the communication template is set up and the conversion is set up you can start mailing.

If necessary, you can create a delayed mailing by setting the date and time of sending.

By default the mailing will begin immediately after clicking on the "Send Now" button.

Important!

You need to set up your own domain to send emails. Learn more about setting up outgoing mail.

After the mailing is performed, a string with the sending status and the percentage of messages sent is displayed. Please note that editing the mailing is not available after the start of sending messages, but it is possible to cancel it if the emails are sent to a large number of customers.

It is also impossible to edit a scheduled mailing 5 minutes before it is sent. To edit such a mailing you must initially cancel it.

To the right of the message there is a "Cancel mailing" button, when clicked, the generated mailing will be canceled with a further transfer to the "Canceled" status. The canceled mailing can be resent if necessary.

Important!

Sending messages is carried out in packages of 5,000 communications. It is impossible to interrupt the sending of a package, so if you cancel a mailing that is being sent, the first 5,000 customers will receive messages.

How to create a delayed mailing?

When you click on the "Schedule" button, a window will open with a choice of date and time to start the mailing. After selecting the date and time, the system itself will carry out the mailing in the specified range.

Note

You can make changes to a delayed mailing before it is sent to customers.

After the delayed mailing is formed, an inscription will appear informing about the date and time of sending messages.

What errors can occur when sending a mailing?

When sending a mailing, both a technical error may occur, and one provided by the system when deviating from the logic of performing the mailing.

Technical errors may occur for reasons that are dependent or beyond our control. If such an error occurs, please contact our support.

After the technical error is corrected, the mailing can be resumed by clicking on the corresponding mailing button or the mailing can be canceled.

If the mailing did not start or was interrupted due to an insufficient number of emails in the package, you need to replenish the package of emails before starting/continuing the mailing. If you want to cancel the mailing you need to click on the "Cancel" button.

Mailing may be interrupted due to a large number of undelivered emails and spam complaints. In this case you need to contact support, discuss the situation and after solving it either resume the mailing or cancel it.

Important!

If the current mailing is interrupted and some of the emails have already been sent, the emails will not be repeated when the mailing resumes. Sending will start from the point at which it was interrupted.

If the current mailing is interrupted, subsequent mailings in the chain will be in the "Draft" status.

What statuses of a mailing exist?

A mailing can have several statuses:

  • "Draft" - the mailing is in the configuration stage and has not yet been sent
  • "Being sent" - the mailing has been started. The percentage of sent communications from the mailing is displayed next to the status.
  • "Sent" – the mailing is sent
  • "Canceled" - the mailing is manually canceled by the manager
  • "Interrupted" - the mailing is interrupted due to an error

Actions with mailing

In the upper right corner of the mailing page, above the list of steps, there is an "Actions" button, when clicked, a drop-down list of actions will appear:

  • Copy the mailing. It allows to make a copy of the current mailing;
  • Delete mailing. It allows to delete a mailing and all subsequent steps (chain of mailings). Deletion of a mailing is possible only in the "Draft" status.

Important!

Please note that a deleted mailing cannot be recovered. If deletion occurs in the middle of a chain, all subsequent steps will be deleted.

If the first mailing has statistics and the second one does not yet, it is impossible to delete the mailing via "Actions". But this can be done using the "Delete" button next to the subheading of the second mailing. It will be available until the mailing statistics appear.
