Welcome-bonuses - a one-time privilege for registration in the Program.
Two types of privilege are available for selection:
- Discount - gives the participant a discount on the order.
- Bonuses - makes a one-time accrual of bonuses to the participant.
Note
In case of a conflict between the main terms of the Program and the terms for events, the more advantageous of them are applied.
Let's consider the settings of each option separately.
Discount
The first setting "Accrual of discount upon registration" determines at what moment the discount will be assigned to the Program participant. There are two options available for selection:
- Immediately after registration - the discount is available to the customer immediately after registration in the Loyalty Program.
- After the first order - the discount will become available to the participant as soon as a certain amount is credited to the amount of participation accumulations.
Please note that the triggering of the "After the first order" event is determined by the setting on crediting the amount of the current purchase to accumulations (after payment or order completion), in the main settings of the Loyalty Program.
Important!
If a customer registers at the time of placing an order, the discount can be applied to the next order after registration.
Next, the amount of the discount provided and the period during which the discount will be valid are set. The expiration date can be set manually or selected from preset options.
The validity period of the discount for an event is defined as the day the event is triggered + N time, according to the setting. That is, the day of the event triggering is not taken into account.
Below is a switch where you can allow/prohibit the application of a discount on products at promotional prices.
Note
Promotional products - products with an additional discount, a one-time discount or a promotional price type. For a product at a promotional price or with a discount the corresponding icon is displayed next to the price of the product.
The options in the "Discount validity" block determine the period during which the event will be valid. There are 2 options available for selection:
- For one order within the validity period - the discount will be applied only to one order within the validity period specified above. The discount will not be applied further.
- For all orders within the validity period - the discount will be applied to all orders that were placed within the period specified above.
Bonuses
The first setting "Accrual of bonuses upon registration" is identical to the one used when working with discounts, and determines at what moment bonuses will be accrued to a Program participant. There are two options available for selection:
- Immediately after registration - bonuses will be credited immediately after registration in the Loyalty Program.
- After the first order - bonuses will be credited to the participant as soon as a certain amount is credited to the amount of participation accumulations.
Important!
If a customer registers at the time of placing an order, welcome-bonuses can be used starting from the next order.
Next, the number of bonuses that will be credited upon registration in the Program is set. The burnout period, after which the bonuses accrued for the event will burn out completely. As well as the activation of bonuses, where two options are available for selection:
- Immediately - bonuses are activated immediately after accrual.
- According to the rules of the Program - bonuses are activated based on the option «Delayed activation of bonuses», in the Program settings.
Note
In case of canceling the write-off of bonuses accrued for the event, they are first returned to the participant's bonus account, and if their validity period (at the time of return) has already expired, they are immediately burned out.
Changing event terms affects only new triggerings. If an event has already been triggered for the participation, and bonuses have been accrued or a discount has been assigned, the terms of their use will not change.
At the very bottom there is a switch that is responsible for the activity of the event. When switched on and saved, the current time of the event launch will be displayed.
Important!
The activity of the event affects only the creation of privileges but does not affect their use if they have already been accrued to participation.
