Essential
When creating a product, the tabs "Properties", "Trade offers" and "Balances and reservations", as well as the blocks "Image" and "Price" are not clickable. In order for them to become active, you should fill in the main information about the product.
Note
All created products and trade offers are transferred to the site you created within the system (if any) if the stores match in the product and in the designer.
Main information
The "Name" and "Store" fields are mandatory to be filled in, the product card cannot be saved without specifying information in them. In the "Stores" list only those stores will be available for selection for which "Maintain in the system" is selected in the catalog maintenance settings.
Belonging to product groups is specified in the "Category" field. A product can be linked to several product groups using multiple selection in the drop-down list.
The "Tagging required" switch turns on the need to tag this product in the order card.
Below are the tags that can be used when filtering.
The specified tags are also displayed in the product card on the site created in the designer.
After filling in the fields and saving the information the product will be immediately added to the store.
Image
It is the block where product images are added. It is possible to add several images to show the product from different angles. Uploaded images can be used by managers to add products visually, send products via the "Chats" block and in emails to customers from the system.
Important!
It is forbidden to use links to images on third-party resources or websites.
Images are uploaded in PNG, JPG, SVG and WEBP formats with a maximum size of 3 megabytes.
Price
The "Price" block specifies the VAT rate, purchase/retail prices and the type of price. Several prices can be added within the same product.
The system has the ability to specify a fractional quantity of products in the order and in the products pickup window. To activate the option select the "Fractional" value in the "Integer or fractional quantity of products" field in the main system settings.
The product fractional quantity is specified with an accuracy of thousandths.
Properties
The "Properties" tab displays all the properties of the product you are in.
Above the list of properties, their total number and a search string by property name are displayed.
In each string with the property there is a checkbox "Include in the trade offer", when enabled, this property will be displayed in the trade offer in order to set individual values for each trade offer. For example, price, article or color. The "Value" field in the "Properties" tab becomes unavailable in this case.
In the "Show only in the system" column checkboxes are displayed only for the added properties. If you activate checkboxes from this column, the property values will not be transferred anywhere (for example, to the site) and your customers will not see them.
By default, 11 preset properties are displayed. If necessary, you can add custom properties in the bottom of the table by clicking on the “+ Add” button. You should specify the name and value of the added property. If the properties have already been added before, then a hint based on matches will be displayed when entering the name. The search for matches starts after entering the third character in the property name. The value is not substituted in this case.
Trade offers
When creating a product, by default, one trade offer is created with the characteristics specified during creation.
There are two blocks in the "Trade offers" tab:
- "Options" - properties by which trading offers differ. For example, color and size.
- "Trade offers" - product variations. Setting the article, images, price and other characteristics.
Options
When creating an option you should specify the name and add the values of the option being created.
The "By default" button is used to indicate the default trade offer on the site. That is, when you select options in the trade offer which are marked as "By default", this trade offer and its image will be displayed on your site.
Note
When an option is deleted, the trade offer in which it was used will be deactivated. It can be reactivated manually.
Trade Offers
This is a block with trade offers, where different variations of one product are set, which may differ in article, image, price and other characteristics that are selected in the "Properties" tab. That is, if one product has differences in parameters, trade offers are used to simplify the work and not separate product cards.
When creating a trade offer, you can select the options that are set above, as well as enter the property values that are created in the "Properties" tab.
In the "External code" field, the identifier of the trade offer for external interaction is specified. It is mainly used in the «Daemon Collector» to mark the product on the site and transfer it to the system.
The "XML code" field is used for linking with other warehouse systems, for example, "MoySklad". You can manually set or change the xml id value in the catalog.
When specifying options, the values you select are automatically substituted into the name of the trade offer. The name can also be set arbitrarily, but then there will be no substitution of option values in the name.
Note
When uploading a product catalog via ICML, the properties and trade offers transferred in the file are also displayed in the "Properties" and "Trade offers" tabs of the same name in the product.
Balances and reservations
Let's take a closer look at the "Balances and reservations" product tab. The rows display trade offers, the columns display the warehouses that are set up in the system. Each column is divided into 2 parts: reservations and free balances.
Reservations shows how many reserved products are in all orders.
Free balances show the balance of the trade offer in the warehouse, taking into account the deducted reservations.
Note
You can specify a fractional number of balances with an accuracy of up to three decimal places.
Depending on the selected balance type, the warehouse settings display the values "Yes" or "No" or a numerical balance.
The total number of balances and reservations in orders is displayed to the right of all warehouses.
Above the list of trade offers with warehouses, the "Go to Warehouses" button is displayed, when clicked, you will be redirected to the warehouse settings.
For access to edit balances the rights of the "Product" block in the user group settings must be active.
Deletion and deactivation of a product
In order to disable or completely delete a product, click on the "Actions" button in the upper right corner of the product and select the desired action.
Important!
When you delete a product, all trade offers are also deleted.
To delete a product and a trade offer activate the corresponding rights in the user group settings.
