The field "Delivery type" determines the list of fields available to configure in the corresponding block.

For example, if you select the delivery type "Courier delivery", the "Courier" field will appear. The list of couriers must be specified in the data book. To see information regarding a courier's availability, you must specify the delivery date of the order.

If you need to send several parcels within one order, you can divide it into packages. By default, the entire order is considered as one package. Working with packages is available for some delivery services, for example, UPS.

The "Delivery" area in the order card can be filled in two ways:

  • short form (postal code, region, city, metro and address)
  • full form (postal code, region, city, metro, street, house, flat, building, entrance, floor and field for additional information).

The address can be manually divided into fields using the "Divide address into separate fields" button, or you can enable automatic address dividing.

Important!

Address dividing is performed using the Yandex.Maps service. If the address was calculated by the system to have been divided incorrectly, it means that such an address does not exist on the mapping service. In this case, it is necessary to correct the address manually.

If the value is not connected with Geohelper, an icon - will be displayed to the right of the field. Clicking on it opens a pop-up window with options from the Geohelper service. Fields that have icons are not involved in determining the postal code.

If a city is selected from the drop-down list, the function of automatic postal code determination by the delivery address becomes available.

When filling in the address fields manually, you are provided with prompts for the region and city. These prompts will depend on the country selected in the settings. If several countries are selected (i.e your store ships to these countries), prompts are available on "Country" field in the order itself. If the region is not specified and the city is selected, the system will automatically substitute the region.

If the card of the customer for whom the order was placed contains more relevant data, you can use the data upload function. To do this, in the order, you need to click on the "Upload delivery address" button. This is explained further in the article "Output of customer data to the order card".

Delivery cost and prime cost of the delivery can be set manually, or calculated automatically using the values in delivery type settings.

If the option "Delivery cost is set by the store" is enabled in the integration settings, then the estimated cost will be substituted only in the "Prime cost" field, and the manager will have to specify the cost themself.

Automatic delivery registration

If the delivery auto-registration setting is enabled, the system will automatically issue a delivery order in all types of delivery integrated.

During the auto-registration, a blocking is triggered for the entire order page. As a result of the auto-registration, the blocking is removed. However, the page is updated to reflect the current information on the order. Please note that during the delivery process, the order may freeze in loading due to the lack of a response from the delivery service or due to server overload. The blocking is removed automatically within 6 hours.

Important!

After the delivery is completed, the possibility of changing the information in the order is blocked. If you need to make adjustments to the order, then you need to cancel the delivery by clicking on the button of the same name next to the type of delivery.
